If you read my first post on this blog, you probably saw a picture that I've taken with my DSL are camera a few years ago. The problem that time correctly having, is that I need a new DSL are camera in order to take new photographs and upload them to this blog, the photography blog, in order to fulfill my passion to photography. First I wanted to share my thoughts with you. My first camera was Canon 400D, and because I don't have any equipment of either Nikon or Canon, I can decide to buy any one of them without selling old photography equipment like camera flash, camera batteries, wide camera lenses and telephoto lenses which I need to sell in order to buy new equipment. So for me it's very easy, while a need to do is to decide which route to choose, whether it's the Nikon path or Canon path,
I certainly don't want to open a discussion about Nikon versus Canon, but laughing out loud right here, this is exactly what's going to happen when they ask you to comment this article and help me decide whether I should buy a Nikon reflex digital camera or a Canon reflex camera. I know it ease a hard argument, and some of you have Nikon equipment and the others have Canon equipment. What I'm here for is for hearing both sides, I mean hearing positive and negatives aspects every company, so when I make my final decision I can do it peacefully without any hesitations whatsoever.
What they do know, is that Nikon have the best lenses and the most sharpest lenses in the world. I know that they are many other lenses manufacturers like Leica and Carl Zeiss, which you can use on Nikon camera bodies. But let's focus on solely Nikon lenses and equipment and forget for now about third-party companies in order to make it a little bit easier for you and for me, okay?
Another thing that they know that when you look at the football field, or a soccer game, you can see only sports photographers which are holding Canon cameras. I've even seen a picture that made me laugh, because there wasn't even one Nikon camera in that particular soccer game. So maybe Canon cameras are better for sports photography, as Nikon are better in wide life and nature photography than Canon. It is arguable and you can comment on this, because something is very fishy here, don't you think?
Okay, let's start by explaining to you what exactly I like to take photographs of. I really love to take pictures of animals, I mean wide life photography, portraits of people, and using a macro lens to take photographs of small objects like jewelry and other stuff like this.
When I bought my first Canon reflex digital SLR camera, I bought it with two lenses, the first one was a fixed length prime lens 50mm f/1.4 from Canon, and the other one was Tamron's 55-200mm. for the time being I didn't really need any other type of lenses, furthermore, I didn't have enough money to buy more lenses, especially those L-lenses, the cost three times more than the amateur enthusiasts lenses. So what they really need is for you to help me choose a camera body and also to type of lenses, so that the first one will be a prime normal focal range lens and the other one a zoom telephoto lens.
What I don't like about Canon digital cameras is the fact that Canon makes, what I think, horrible entry-level digital reflex cameras for amateur photographers. Nikon on the other hand, makes remarkable entry-level DSLR cameras, which are well built, in terms of body feel and the overall quality of that entry-level DSLR camera. But what they wanted to say actually, is that I don't want to buy an entry-level camera. I want to buy an enthusiastic camera like the Nikon D300S or the Canon EOS 7D. so when you give your comments, please take into consideration.
You can even post a link to your Flickr account, I mean the pages with your photographs, so I can see the quality or some mouse functions of the camera, either Nikon or Canon. I would greatly appreciate your help in helping me decide which camera should I buy or shouldn't buy in the near future. Thank you very much guys I appreciate everything you'll do to help me on this, because for me it is very very important sold this conflict as soon as possible and to buy this camera in a month or so.
