The National Geographic photography section looks amazing. Decorated with astonishing images taken by professional photographers, and just for that I can look in the Main page for hours. The category is separated into six sections: National Geographic photo galleries, wallpapers, National Geographic photo of the day, information about National Geographic photographers, National Geographic photo tips and buy prints online.
National Geographic Photo Galleries
So let's first ask a mine the National Geographic photo galleries section, which I think is one of the most interesting sections in all National Geographic website. So when you click the photo galleries link, you'll get to page which at least of all the photo gallery categories with colorful tiny images for each category. For example: adventure and exploration where you can find photographs of volcanoes, caves and more. Animal category, which in there you can find photographs of lions, elephants and other wide life animals. The next category it the history category, which in there you can find National Geographic photographs of lost cities, old architectural buildings, iconic moments etc. the other categories are landscapes, nature and weather, patterns in nature, people and culture, science and space, travel and underwater photography.
At the top of the page of National Geographic photo galleries. You can see a box with the featured galleries and an image review from each featured galleries. On the right side, you can see a list of the most popular National Geographic galleries and the editor's picks. So we randomly decided to click on the landscape's gallery in order to see what waits for us inside.
So for each photo gallery, there two sections. At the top, you can see the featured galleries and underneath it, you can see the editor's picks. For example, for the landscape's National Geographic photo gallery, you can see sub sections like Irish landscapes, desert landscapes, landscape photo tips etc.
The National Geographic photos presented inside those galleries are absolutely breathtaking. Every photographer can be inspired just by looking at those images and see what the person or an artist can create with his camera.

Now let's take a look at the National Geographic wallpapers section. It here you can find gorgeous images, which are intended to be used as a computer screen wallpaper. Similar to the photo gallery's category, the wallpapers category is also arranged with the display of different categories, the same as the photo galleries section. Underneath the image, you can see the name or title of the image, the name of the photographer who took the photograph and some explanation about the photograph itself. Clicking on the previous link will lead you to the previous photo of the day pictures. You can really come every day in order to see another amazing photograph taken by National Geographic photographers. And believe me, these are really amazing photographs to watch and will certainly give you a lot of inspirations and admire the photographers who took them.

In the section, you can actually see a list of all National Geographic photographers arranged in alphabetical order on the right side. Clicking on the name of the photographer will bring you to a dedicated photographer page. For example, we clicked Sam Abel name . You can see a summary description about the National Geographic photographer, it's education, works and another interesting information.
National Geographic Photo Tips
This is probably the most interesting section in National Geographic website photography section, in terms of gaining knowledge and learning more about how to take gorgeous photographs using your equipment. Of course those photo tips are written by professional and experienced National Geographic photographers and editors. You can choose the tips' category from: digital photography tips, landscape photography tips, travel photography tips, people and portraits of photography tips, action and adventure photography tips, and video related photography tips. There are very interesting articles, which are displayed as text or as video, which are very easy to understand. By clicking one of the videos, a pop-up window will appear with a lot of photo tip videos. And believe me, there is nothing like watching tutorials, which were made by professional photographers. You can even search for specific videos related to many subjects easily.
National Geographic Print Store
The last section is the National Geographic print store, which in there, you can buy National Geographic photographs prints online. Every photograph appeared somewhere in the past, in one of the previous or current issues of the National Geographic magazine. As the other sections, that print store show a visitor many categories to choose from like geographic vintage, museum exhibits, photo of the day, editor's picks, history and culture, weather and natural forces etc.
