What Photography is all about?

There are so many types of reflex digital camera that just by thinking of buying a new reflex digital camera blows my mind. I am a perfectionist, that means, that I read every review that you can possibly imagine on the most popular photography websites and blogs on the Internet.

I know that many a few were reading this article have lots of knowledge, and most of you are probably very educated in the photography Field. Today, I wanted to talk about digital cameras is a whole and also about digital photography single reflex lens cameras. I am an amateur photographer and correctly I don't have any special equipment, including a camera or studio, which I can take professional photographs and post them on photographs sharing sites.

My father have a Nikon camera, a reflex digital camera with three lenses. Because I can borrow his camera, because he is so attached to his camera and he thinks that if he lets me use the camera I would probably break it, I need to buy a camera of my own. First, I have decided to read and learn about photography, how to take portrait photographs, learn tips from professional photographers about photography and even I bought a few books from Amazon, and took several online photography tutorials, which will teach me how to use the camera, learn about light and everything about equipment to allow me to become more creative in the photography Field.

I am mostly interested in macro photography and taking images of my family and friends altogether. Yesterday, I found that a leading photography website called Dpreview.com has photography contest, in which everyone can register take part and get the chance to share his creativity with amateurs and both professionals photographers from all around the globe, and this is awesome!

I even signed up for a photography magazine, actually it was National Geographic magazine, which I mostly enjoy watching the wide life photographs and macro photos. I think for every photographer with interested in learning more about photography, should read about the history of photography in order to deepen his knowledge to mostly enhance the enjoyment of being a photographer.

For me, photography is a passion. I remember visiting London in England a few years ago, and I remember that my father took a picture of my brother sitting on a bench in the main street in London. What they surely remember from the photo taken at that same day, is that the background of the image was completely blurred, and I later on, understood that you can take a picture there blur the background using a DSL camera. From that point on, I knew that my hobby will be photography.

I start by searching information and widen my knowledge by reading lots of articles about photography in blogs, sites, forums etc. there are many types of photography, like architectural photography, child and Keats photography, still life photography and many other niches.

I logged on to Amazon and bought the book "digital photography for Dummies". This book was intended for beginners in their first steps into the digital photography world. Of course you can take a course or go to a photography school and learn more about photography to become an expert. In older to fully attain and profits from being a photographer or make it a career, you should learn more about photography techniques and stop taking photographs immediately, in order to gain knowledge and experience that you only learn by experiencing, studying and trying those techniques your self.

It's all about becoming a better photographer. Some photographers decide to become more knowledgeable in a niche type of photography Field like: candid photography, black and white photography and so on.

What ever path you decide to take, the most important thing is that you can enjoy and learn to enjoy bringing appropriate to the maximum, and believe me it is not that simple. You need to master your digital camera and other equipment, learn how to use flashes in order to take the best portraits, and maximize the potential of all your photography equipment to the max.

After that, you can join online photo contest and even start making money as a professional photographer, if you decide that you want to become one.
