I am planning to purchase a new professional SLR camera in the next month. Because I am reviewing a lot of website related to digital photography, I had a chance to find a lot of in-depth reviews about SLR cameras on many of the websites I am reviewing. Nerveless, there is nothing like hearing you opinion about the new cameras that entered the market lately. I have been waiting for the new cameras from Nikon and Canon to appear. Just to let you know that I currently don't own any gear from either Nikon or Canon (the two companies on my top list). So I am open for suggestions and guides.
Nikon D300s or something else?
For start, I was looking towards the Nikon D300s. Before I have heard that new SLR cameras are going to be introduced this month, I did a research about Nikon D300. There are positive and negatives about every camera, and I don't want to open a discussion about Nikon vs. Canon. I need to hear your opinion on current SLR cameras that you own, and if you had experience with more then one camera, and the cameras that I am putting my eyes on, that would be helpful.
The cameras that I am consider buying:
1. Canon EOS 7D
2. Nikon D300s
3. Canon 5D Mark II
4. Nikon D700
In terms of price, I am willing to pay more for equipment that is better then the other. But I also want 2 lenses to go with it, one wide lens and a telephoto zoom lens. I have hear about a new lens from Nikon that is a replacement for the older Nikon 70-200mm VR, and as far as I remember it is called Nikkor 70-200mm VR II, or something like that. OF course I can do a research, buy I am writing this early in the morning, and being a little bit lazy.
So if you have an opinion on one of those cameras, please reply and give your helpful comment. Do not forget about suggesting lenses, again, I need two lenses: Wide angle lens and a telephoto zoom lens.
