Canon 100mm Macro Lens with Hybrid IS
I've been reading a lot about the new Canon 100mm Hybrid IS macro lens on the web. I have the Canon 50D SLR camera, and I was searching to buy a new macro lens, which will give me a high optical quality, precision and high contrast images. I first heard about the Canon 100mm f2.8L hybrid IS USM macro lens on dpreview.com website. I thought that macro lens has everything that I wanted in a macro lens: image stabilization up to four stops, ultrasonic motor, fast aperture and a longer focal range. This is a L Lens, means that these is a luxury and high quality lens from Canon.
Another thing important to mention, is that this new Canon EF 100mm Macro lens has is the new hybrid image stabilization from Canon. Hybrid IS is a new technology which offers up to four stops of correction of camera shake, and it's uses a low friction to ceramic balls, which supports of the lens elements in order to allow smoother movements when correcting the camera shake, was shooting close subjects in macro mode.
The new Hybrid image stabilization Canon EF 100 mm macro lens also incorporates ultralow dispersion (UD) lens elements in order to correct color and minimize chromatic aberrations. So of the new Canon 100mm IS USM f/2.8L Macro lens offers the ability to shoot high resolution images with mini mall distortions, ghosting and flare. The USM auto focus motor also helps to quickly achieve focus, while shooting outdoor images of insects, for example. The focal range is also a very comfortable macro focal range to shoot with, when shooting outdoors.
Canon EF 100mm IS USM 2.8L Hybrid is an L-series lens, and therefore, it is past dust and water resistant seals.
After reading many reviews about the new Hybrid IS Canon EF 100 mm macro lens, I have decided that I want to buy his lens when it will become available in my country. The price is good and dating the image quality will be one of the highest qualities macro lenses that can have. For me, just by looking at the specifications of this magnificent lens, I'm sure that even without the new hybrid image stabilization technology, this lens will be my next macro lens.
