Olympus Announce E-600 Four-Thirds Cheap SLR Camera

Olympus has introduced a new digital SLR camera called E-600. As you probably know the Olympus E-Series SLR is based on the 4/3 standard. The main target was to develop a cheap SLR camera with some unique features that will appeal to new photographers searching to upgrade to a new SLR camera phone their consumer camera.

The E-600 SLR has 12.3 mega pixels sensor and the 2.7 inch LCD back screen. Olympus has already released the E-620 model on February 2009. Olympus tries to target different customers who search for a cheaper solution without advanced features, which they probably won't use anyway.

Olympus E-600 includes three types of "art filters", and those filters are special effects can use on your photographs to enhance your creativeness in just one click, and it is pretty useful for new photographers, who don't want or don't know how to edit photographs using photo editing software like Photoshop.

The Olympus E-600 SLR camera has iso-sensitivity ranges from 100 to 3200. The shutter speeds ranging from 1/4000 to 60 seconds. The Olympus E-600 is supposed to shape and be available on November 2009. Depressing is $599 for the kit package which includes the ED 14-24mm f3.5-5.6 Zuiko zoom lens.
