The first camera is the Samsung ST600 DualView camera. The first time we can see a digital camera that has dual LCD screes, one on the back (3.5") and one at the front (1.8"). Probably Samsung has gotten its inspiration from the Apple iPhone 4 mobile phone, which allows you to take pictures using the back camera, but also make a self portrait using the front camera (love to shoot portraits, take a look at Portrait Professional 9 software). Of course the Samsung ST600 is quite different. It only have one lens in front (of course), but you can take a self portrait picture by looking at the front 1.8" LCD screen.
Samsung ST600 DualView Digital Camera
The Samsung ST600 camera comes with a 27-175mm (5x) stabilized zoom lens. It features a smart gesture User Interface, smart face recognition, HD 720p 30fps H.264 video recording and can shoot high ISO 3200 image. By looking at the back of the Samsung ST600 digital camera, you can see that the camera has no buttons, everything is being controlled by the large 3.5" LCD touch-screen. It is a beautiful small camera (104mm x 60mm x 20mm), that I am sure that it will be found on many pockets by the end of 2010.

Samsung ST100 DualView
The second camera is the Samsung ST100 DualView. It has almost the same features found on the ST600, but has a different 35-175mm lens and it is a little bit smaller int size, 100mm x 60mm x 20mm. Compared to the ST600, the camera's lens doesn't extend and Samsung opted for inner zoom functionality in this camera, compared to extend zoom functionality in the Samsung ST600 camera.

The Samsung ST100 digital camera utilizes a Schneider-KREUZNACH Varioplan x4 6.4-31.5mm 1:3.6-4.8 lens, which suppose to allow high image quality in a small compact camera body.
What is DualView exactly? - Here is a video commercial of the Samsung DualView TL225/TL220 that shows the DualView functionality (I haven't found the current model commercial videos, so I use this instead to demonstrate the DualView capability:
Samsung PL200 Compact High-Zoom Camera
The third camera that Samsung has announced today is the Samsung PL200 compact High-Zoom point-and-shoot slim digital camera. This camera suppose to be one of Samsung's new budget compact digital camera. It uses a 14.2MP CCD sensor, allows shooting videos in 1280x720 resolution in 30 fps. It has a large 3.0" LCD with 230,000 dots at the back of the camera, Samsung PL200 is small, cheap and yet stylish and a kind of compact point-and-shoot cameras that can take high quality images. Affordable, but yet allows photographers to shoot 720p HD videos in H.264 format. As you can probably see, many new compact digital cameras now offer 720p or 1080p video capabilities. I am interested to know if the quality of such high resolution videos look good on the Samsung PL200 and other compacts like this one.
As you can see, a refreshing update with great affordable and high quality compact digital cameras from Samsung. I really get exited when new cameras emerged, lets just hope that the DSLR announcements will be exiting too (aka Canon 60D DSLR).
