Macro Photography or closeup photography is all about capturing the fine details of a small subject. In order to to catch capture macro shots, many photographers utilize a 1:1 Macro lens or buy themselves a good Point and shoot camera that can focus on a subject approximately 1cm a way from the subject.

Stunning macro photos aren't they. That's what can be achieved with skill, experience, right equipment and creativity. What I also like about Macro images is that photographers are taking into consideration the background blue effect and get out with some stunning images. Some of those closeup shots are among the mist beautiful and colorful photos I've ever seen. Although I must admit that some of them are a bit spooky (the insects ones) but I am getting used to it :)
