Sony has announced the Sony Cyber-shot™ DSC-TX55 point-and-shoot camera. Cyber-shot TX-series cameras are very slim and compact cameras, also referred to as 'card-style' cameras.  The TX55 is the host of many advanced features which cam be found in today's latest digital cameras, including 1080i60 videos, 3D sweep panorama, 3.3" OLED touch-sensitive screen and much more.


The New Cyber-shot TX55 has a 27-135mm (35mm equiv.) 5x zoom lens, 16MP Exmor R™ CMOS sensor that already proven to provide highly detailed photos with lower noise compared to previous generation sensors.

Sony Cyber-shot TX55 also comes with a brand new feature called 'Clear Image Zoom' which allows to increase the image magnification but still maintain the same number of pixels in the image. Another technology utilized in this camera is 'By Pixel Super Resolution', which extended the zooming capabilities from 5x to 10x..

AS we know Sony TX cameras, there all about creativity, fun and enjoyment of taking photos and videos. This is a digital camera that you would or should take everywhere you go. You can put it in your pocket and when you spot something that you want to shoot, just grab your camera and grab the shot.  The Zoom range is very useful for group shots up to mid-range tele shots.

Sony pushes the boundaries of point-and-shoot cameras further and further.  Some people might call it 'gimmicky', although for the market segment is aimed for, this is a really offering from Sony.
