The New Cyber-shot TX55 has a 27-135mm (35mm equiv.) 5x zoom lens, 16MP Exmor R™ CMOS sensor that already proven to provide highly detailed photos with lower noise compared to previous generation sensors.
Sony Cyber-shot TX55 also comes with a brand new feature called 'Clear Image Zoom' which allows to increase the image magnification but still maintain the same number of pixels in the image. Another technology utilized in this camera is 'By Pixel Super Resolution', which extended the zooming capabilities from 5x to 10x..
